Expanded Form Multiplication Models

Today in class we learned how to multiply 2 digit by 2 digit numbers. We aren't quite ready for the standard algorithm so we used a model! Below I have included a picture that will hopefully walk you through using this model. Thanks for your support!

The expanded form model basically breaks the multiplication problem into 4 simpler, smaller problems. You then take each of those products and add them together to get the answer! Let me know if you have any other questions!
