Protractors and other Information!

This week we are learning how to use PROTRACTORS to measure angles in degrees. This is hard for a lot of students. If you have a protractor at home or can pick one up it would be helpful to have your student work with it. Draw angles and have them measure them or let them draw angles with a specific measure. We are also getting ready to start our unit on measurement and conversion of measurement. Here is this week's planner:
Monday: 11.3 Draw and Measure Angles Homework: Practice 12s
Tuesday: 11.3 Continued: No Homework
Wednesday: 11.4 Join and Seperating Angles 9s Test Today! Homework: 9s practice
Thursday: Introduction to Chapter 12 Measurement and 12.1 Measurement Benchmarks Homework: P221-222 and study for 12s test!
Friday: 12.2 Customary Units of Length
